Olivia Beaman (a homeschool mom, nature lover, artist, novice gardener, bookworm, DIY addict, and travel enthusiast) holds a bachelor’s degree in education and in Spanish. She and her husband own & operate a home improvement business in central Indiana where they raise and homeschool their 7 year old daughter, Nora, and 4 year old son, Owen. They all love to go camping, spend time exploring outdoors, traveling as a family, but also very much enjoy spending time at home together. Olivia believes that aiming for balance & harmony is the best approach, so in addition to prioritizing natural remedies, enjoying sourdough baking as a hobby, and cooking as a passion… she also loves watching Netflix to unwind (*gasp* I know, not the blue light!) and finds ways to utilize technology in educating, exercising (anyone else big fans of PE Bowman, Miss Linky, and SanFran Fitness Kids, Khan Academy Kids, Hoopla/Libby, PBS Kids, PBS Kids games apps, etc.? #notsponsored), and even connecting with her kids (she’s a true sucker for that animated nostalgia). With all these experiences and passions infused into her approach, Olivia has been creating resources for her own kids and to use when leading lessons at local co-ops and homeschool groups for years. She decided to revise and compile them here to share with others who might enjoy them. That’s how WildBound was born!
